We’ve reached the end of Season 1 in MLB The Show 23, but that only means that Season 2 is now upon us. The second season of Diamond Dynasty went live on May 12, giving MLB The Show players the opportunity to complete new collections, obtain new rewards, and get new bosses. So, what’s on tap for Season 2? Let’s take a look.

We should note that once someone hits 650,000 XP, users can claim additional, random rewards after accumulating 25,000 XP. This means that players can get rewards at 675,000, 700,000, and so on.
How to get XP
In MLB The Show 22, players could acquire XP in a variety of different ways. That has remained largely the same for The Show 23. Simply put, The Show players can accumulate XP just by playing the various game modes in the title. Even if you’re not playing Diamond Dynasty, you can still get XP towards Season 2.
However, we should note that users can acquire XP boosts for hitting certain milestones in Programs, events, Ranked Seasons, and in Conquests. Additionally, completing Collections will yield XP. Be on the lookout for those.
Now, we should mention that as of May 12, there are no player-specific Missions that can be completed to get XP. There weren’t any for Season 1, but that could change as we progress through the season.
Season 2 is set to end on July 7.
