- 91 OVR Aroldis Chapman: 30 Season 2 cards
- 93 OVR Joe Morgan: 60 Season 2 cards
- 95 OVR Grady Sizemore: 80 Season 2 cards
- Season 2 Collection Choice Pack (99 OVR Derek Jeter, 99 OVR Bob Gibson, 99 OVR Frank Thomas): 230 Season 2 cards
As of now, just one 99 OVR Choice Pack can be unlocked. Sony San Diego stated that additional rewards and tiers will be released throughout Season 2
How to get Season 2 cards
First off, be mindful that not all tiers can be unlocked right away. In fact, it’s virtually impossible to get the 99 OVR Choice Pack during the early stages of Season 2, since not enough cards are in circulation.
However, here’s a look at what to do to pick up cards:
- Team Affinity 2: Thirty Chapter 1 bosses were dropped on the first day of Season 2. Expect an additional 60 to be released throughout the second season. Get all the cards and Diamond Dynasty players are almost 40% to the first pack.
- Other Programs: The developers released Season Awards Drop Programs every week, with Season Awards and Topps Now cards for Season 2. Additionally, SDS the Retro All-Star Game Program, Architects Program, and London Series Program, all of which come with additional S2 cards.
- Season 2 Headliners and Choice Pack cards: SDS regularly drops Headliners and Choice Packs. The developers will drop free ones on occasion, meaning that players should either wait to unlock those or just buy the cards with Stubs once the price drops to a reasonable price.
- Ranked Seasons and Battle Royale: Every reset of Ranked Seasons and Battle Royale, which comes usually once every 28 days, comes with new cards.
Additionally, the Season 2 XP Path comes with cards, including a 97 OVR Yasmani Grandal and three 99 OVR bosses.
One other piece of advice: take your time and don’t be enticed to spend Stubs.
