With the 2024 MLB All-Star Game on the horizon, Sony San Diego released the MLB The Show 24 Retro All-Star Game Program on June 25. The program comes with pack and Stub rewards, plus four All-Star Game Series that highlight achievements from past Midsummer Classics. Among the four is a 92 OVR Larry Walker. Here’s a look at the rewards, plus how to make progress.

  • 5 Points: MLB The Show 24 pack/1,000 Stubs
  • 10 Points: 89 OVR All-Star Game Chris Devenski and 7,500 XP
  • 15 Points: 500 Stubs
  • 20 Points: MLB The Show 24 pack/1,000 Stubs
  • 25 Points: 89 OVR All-Star Game Carlos Pena and 7,500 XP
  • 30 Points: 500 Stubs
  • 35 Points: MLB The Show 24 pack/1,000 Stubs
  • 40 Points: 91 OVR All-Star Game Alex Wood and 7,500 XP
  • 45 Points: 500 Stubs
  • 50 Points: 92 OVR All-Star Game Larry Walker and 7,500 XP

How to make progress in Retro All-Star Game Program

To progress in the MLB The Show 24 Retro All-Star Program, users must complete Moments, PXP, and Stat-based Missions. Here’s a look at the available objectives:

  • Complete four Moments (12 pts. – 3 pts. each)
  • Complete optional Extreme Moment (Tally 10 strikeouts without giving up one run with Alex Wood. – 9 pts.)
  • PXP Missions:
    • Tally 500 PXP with All-Star Series and All-Star Game Series in 1v1 Ranked, Battle Royale, Events, Play vs. CPU, Mini Seasons, and Conquest (5 pts.) (REPEATABLE)
    • Tally 150 PXP with All-Star Game Chris Devenski in 1v1 Ranked, Battle Royale, Events, Play vs. CPU, Mini Seasons, and Conquest (3 pts.)
    • Tally 150 PXP with All-Star Game Carlos Pena in 1v1 Ranked, Battle Royale, Events, Play vs. CPU, Mini Seasons, and Conquest (3 pts.)
    • Tally 150 PXP with All-Star Game Alex Wood in 1v1 Ranked, Battle Royale, Events, Play vs. CPU, Mini Seasons, and Conquest (3 pts.)
  • Stat Missions:
    • Tally 25 strikeouts with American League relief and closing pitchers (i.e. any card from AL team) in 1v1 Ranked, Battle Royale, Events, Play vs. CPU, Mini Seasons, and Conquest (5 pts.)

    • Tally 15 hits with National League right fielders in 1v1 Ranked, Battle Royale, Events, Play vs. CPU, Mini Seasons, and Conquest (5 pts.)
  • Retro All-Star Game Event Missions:
    • Tally 15 hits with any hitter in Retro All-Star Game Event (3 pts.)
    • Tally 10 RBI with any batter in Retro All-Star Game Event (3 pts.)
    • Tally three home runs with any batter in Retro All-Star Game Event (3 pts.)
    • Tally seven strikeouts with any pitcher in Retro All-Star Game Event (3 pts.)
    • Tally two saves with any pitcher in Retro All-Star Game Event (3 pts.)

As far as the All-Star/All-Star Game Series PXP Mission is concerned, available options include the 87 OVR Napoli from the Architects Program, plus the 89 OVR Jared Walsh and Bo Bichette from Team Affinity 2.

The Retro All-Star Game Event Missions can be completed from June 25 through July 2, 2024, at 2:00 PM ET.
