On July 3, the first free 99 OVR card in MLB The Show 25 was made available. It’s a fitting one, as Clayton Kershaw became the 20th pitcher in MLB history to reach the 3,000 strikeout marker just one day earlier. Thus, a 99 OVR Milestone Kershaw was released for Diamond Dynasty.

How to make progress

Here’s a look at the tasks:

  • Complete 10 Moments (30 pts. – 3 pts. each)
  • Complete Kershaw Showdown (20 pts.)
  • Complete OPTIONAL 3,000 Strikeouts Icon Collection: Get 3,000 strikeouts across all DD modes and collect Diamond Icon (20 pts.)
  • 92 OVR Kershaw Missions:
    • Tally three wins with All-Star Kershaw (5 pts.)
    • Tally 10 strikeouts with All-Star Kershaw (5 pts.)
    • Tally 300 PXP with All-Star Kershaw (5 pts.)
  • Stat Missions:
    • Tally five wins with Dodgers pitchers (10 pts.)
    • Tally 30 innings with Dodgers pitchers (10 pts.)
    • Tally 30 strikeouts with Dodgers pitchers (10 pts.)
    • Tally 3,000 PXP with Dodgers pitchers (10 pts.)

The stat missions can be completed in any single-player or online game mode within Diamond Dynasty, aside from Showdown & Moments.

Much like with the Yu Darvish Evolution Program, the plan here is to get enough Points — whether it be through the Moments and/or Showdown –to get the 92 OVR version and get the All-Star Missions done in some fashion.

Outside of the optional Collection, there are 105 available Star Points. Choose your path wisely.
