Just before the 4th of July, Sony San Diego released the 5th Inning Program in MLB The Show 25 on July 3. This program will be virtually the same as the 4th Inning, albeit with key differences. Namely, three new 97 OVR Bosses and a shorter period of time to complete it.

Sony San Diego has moved up the Boss Choice Packs yet again, as the first one is at 205,000 XP. For those interested, the first one in the 4th Inning was 235,000 XP.
However, there’s a good reason for that: there’s less time to get this one done.
How to make progress
As always, Inning Program progress can be made by earning XP. XP can be earned via program bonuses, Conquest, and just playing Diamond Dynasty and other game modes.
Anyone who obtained all three 4th Inning Bosses can complete a collection to get 50,000 XP towards the 5th Inning. Go to ‘Collections’ to lock in the three bosses.
New to the 5th Inning are Exchanges. Individuals can exchange any card not collected for extra XP:
- I: 5,000 XP (10,000 Value)
- II: 7,000 XP (14,000 Value)
- III: 10,000 XP (20,000 Value)
- IV: 13,000 XP (26,000 Value)
- V: 15,000 XP (30,000 Value)
