On Opening Day, Sony San Diego released the Baseball Map Conquest for MLB The Show 25. This Conquest includes hidden packs, 5,000 XP, plus Opening Day-themed items, including a Bat & Player Banner.
Map and Goals
Here’s a look at the map. As the name suggests, it’s in the shape of a baseball:
SDS gives players a good head start for this Conquest. That’s because the seams of the “baseball” are made up of Territories already acquired for the player.
Four teams have Strongholds in this Conquest: the Brewers, Cardinals, Twins, and Yankees. On Opening Day, the Brewers faced the Yankees (featured on one side), while the Twins faced the Cardinals (on the other).
There are five goals for this MLB The Show 25 Conquest. Here are the five goals:
- Goal 1: Conquer 60 Territories (rewards are MLB The Show 25 pack and 500 XP)
- Goal 2: Capture the Twins & Yankees Strongholds (reward is MLB The Show 25 pack)
- Goal 3: Capture the Brewers & Cardinals Strongholds (rewards are MLB The Show 25 pack and 1,000 XP)
- Goal 4: Take all Strongholds (reward is MLB The Show 25 pack (x5))
- Goal 5: Conquer all Territories on the map (rewards are Deluxe Choice Pack and 3,500 XP)
As of this writing, there are two options for the Deluxe Choice Pack: MLB Pipeline and New Threads. One will be awarded randomly. Either should be useful for those looking to acquire the 88 OVR Roki Sasaki or the 89 OVR Anthony Santander.
