On August 26, Sony released the Double Agent Program in MLB The Show 25. This program features players who’ve played on multiple teams and accomplished historic feats. It includes four 99 OVR cards, as well as two Topps Now cards that highlighted Danny Jansen’s 2024 plight of playing for two teams in the same game.

And, a look at the cards:
Danny Jansen
Jim Edmonds
Gaylord Perry
As indicated in the screenshots, there are two versions of each player, one featuring a different team. Additionally, there are attribute differences. Perry’s Padres version has a worse H/9 but higher K/9 than the Guardians’ one. Jim Edmonds’ Angels version has a first base secondary. His Cardinals one does not.
How to make progress

- Tally 35 strikeouts with Award Series pitchers (10 pts.)
- Tally seven extra-base hits with Topps Now players (10 pts.)
- Tally 20 hits with Awards Series players (10 pts.)
- Tally 20 innings pitched with Awards Series pitchers (10 pts.)
- Tally seven extra-base hits with Awards Series players (10 pts.)
- OPTIONAL EXTREME Crack the Code Moments:
- Walk two batters and give up a hit without giving up a run in an inning on Veteran (10 pts.)
- Strike out four batters in one inning and do not allow a run on Veteran (10 pts.)
- Tally two sacrifice flies over four plate appearances on Veteran (20 pts.)
- Hit a double, triple, and home run in one inning, and get caught stealing twice without a successful steal on Veteran (30 pts.)
- Steal six bases in one inning without scoring a single run on Veteran (30 pts.)
This program is relatively straightforward — unless one goes for the Crack the Code Moments. Just use Topps Now cards, either from this program or Spotlights, for the stat missions, then passively work up with additional Awards Series cards.
Now, as far as the Extreme Moments are concerned, there are five levels. Meaning, the second Moment can’t be unlocked without doing the first one.
I highly recommend not doing the Extreme ones. A lot of time can be wasted on Moments that require some luck, like the four strikeouts in one inning. Realistically, the only way(s) to do that one is to throw balls way out of the zone with two strikes to force a passed ball. Or, put a out of position player behind the dish. Or, just not throw the ball to first.
From there, there’s a lot of mental gymnastics to go through. To steal six bases under the circumstances for the last one, you’ll need to get thrown out. Getting the third one down will require fast (think 99 Speed) players.
