MLB The Show 25 developer Sony San Diego will roll out patch 1.11 on May 9, just before the start of the second Weekend Classic. This update will be more minor in nature, at least compared to the one last week. However, it does come with notable changes.
MLB The Show 25 May 9 title update
Here’s a look at the patch notes for the MLB The Show 25 May 9 update:
General
- 2025 Arizona Diamondbacks City Connect uniforms have been added.
- 2025 Miami Marlins City Connect uniforms have been added.
Gameplay
- Fixed a freeze that could occur in co-op.
Diamond Dynasty
- Fixed a bug where users were unable to adjust their lineup in Mini Seasons.
Road to the Show
- Fixed a bug where users might not receive monthly manager meetings in the minor leagues.
Updated player models
- Tyler Alexander
- Tink Hence
- Jose Leclerc
- Orion Kerkering
- Jung Hoo Lee
- Christian Yelich
- Joseph Ortiz
- Ryan Helsley
Since the last update, the Diamondbacks unveiled their new purple City Connect jersey. It will be added into MLB The Show alongside the Marlins one. The Marlins’ new jersey was released on April 30, days before the May 2 title update.
Aside from that, SDS fixed a glitch that caused freezes in co-op, plus added new player models for MLB players Jung Hoo Lee & Christian Yelich, among others.
It should be noted — since it wasn’t in the patch notes — that Sony made an additional change before May 9. The developers disabled the ability to use created stadiums in ranked head-to-head games, even though these stadiums can still be selected in-game. Should both players choose a created stadium, Coors Field will be the default.
This patch will go live for all consoles on May 9, at 7 AM ET.
