For the first time in almost a month, the Sony San Diego team will release a new title update for MLB The Show 25: patch 1.26. This update will go live on October 1 during the morning hours in the United States. It’s not a significant one but it does add new Under Armour equipment items, plus new player models.

MLB The Show 25 patch 1.26 notes

Here are the patch notes for the October 1 title update for MLB The Show 25:

Updated player models

  • Pete Alonso
  • Francisco Alvarez
  • Harrison Bader
  • Freddy Fermin
  • Sal Frelick
  • Kyle Hart
  • Clay Holmes
  • Sean Manaea

New equipment

  • Under Armour Cleats: UA Harper 10
  • Under Armour Cleats: UA Yard Icon
  • Under Armour King Of The Diamond Batting Gloves

Much like the previous update that went live on September 10, the changes from this patch focus solely on adding new player models and equipment into MLB The Show 25. Again, this shouldn’t be too much of a shock, given that the next game will very likely come out next spring.

Several members of the Mets’ roster will get new player models. Pitcher Clay Holmes and Sean Manaea, as well as Pete Alonso and Francisco Alvarez, are a part of that group.

Additionally, several players who will play October baseball, like Sal Frelick and Harrison Bader, are a part of that group.

Three new Under Armour equipment items are being added, as well. The UA Harper 10, named after Bryce Harper, is a part of the group.

This update will go live for all platforms — the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X — on October 1 at 7 AM ET.
