The 3rd Inning Program of MLB The Show 26 went live on May 8. This program saw some changes made to the format, as fewer XP will be required to complete it & obtain the Boss Choice Pack. That pack, by the way, includes two players who currently play for the New York Mets: Francisco Lindor & Juan Soto.

Players will receive a random bonus reward for every 30,000 XP earned after 400,000 XP.

How to make progress

Sony released the first batch of Inning-focused Missions on May 8. Those were as follows:

  • Tally 10 hits in Conquest on any difficulty (3,750 XP)
  • Tally 500 PXP with any Cornerstone Series players (5.250 XP)
  • Score 25 runs in Weekend Classic and/or Solo/Co-op ranked (7,500 XP)
  • Hit 10 home runs in any game mode on any difficulty (7,500 XP)
  • Steal 18 bases in any game mode on any difficulty (7,500 XP)

More will be released, as Sony has scheduled an additional batch of Mission drops on May 15.

And, there’s also a 1,000 XP Mission to complete the Cityscapes Robin Yount Exchange. But for those who completed it before the end of the 2nd Inning Program, you won’t get any progress.

Additionally, anyone who has both 92 OVR Randy Johnson & Babe Ruth from the 2nd Inning Program can collect both for a 30,000 XP voucher.

Things shouldn’t be as tight for XP this go-around. But for those who need extra help, be sure to check out the April Spotlight Programs, plus the Bobby Witt Jr. Takeover Program. That Takeover Program includes 20,000 XP.
