The 7th Inning Program for MLB The Show 26 Diamond Dynasty was released on August 28. Four new 99 OVR cards were released within the program, including two bosses. Those bosses were two of the best players from the 2000s: David Wright & Manny Ramirez.

Now, to make progress, it’s the same deal as always. Play the game in any mode, and you will earn XP. However, be mindful that accomplishments like Program completion, Mini Season goals, Conquest Goals, etc. will also yield significant XP bonuses. As will playing through the Multiplayer Program.
Those who have & collect both the 99 OVR Awards Dustin Pedroia and Milestone Ken Singleton from the 6th Inning Program will get 30,000 XP towards the 7th Inning Program.
Additionally, Sony dropped a series of XP-based Missions on August 28. Those are as follows:
- Score 15 runs on any difficulty in any game mode (4,000 XP)
- Tally 500 PXP with Cornerstone Series players in any game mode (5,000 XP)
- Tally 15 extra-base hits in Weekend Classic and/or Solo/Co-op Ranked (7.500 XP)
- Hit 45 home runs on any difficulty in any game mode (7,500 XP)
- Steal 34 bases in any game mode on any difficulty (7,500 XP)
More will be released throughout the 7th Inning Program.
