Lightning & Retro Lightning
On September 4, Sony announced the Lightning & Retro Lightning for August in MLB The Show 26.
Royals 1B/OF Jac Caglianone is the Lightning. It’s a 99 OVR card and can be obtained by collecting the four Spotlight cards at the end of each August Spotlight Drop Program (1-4). Those cards are 99 OVR Alex Bregman, Nick Sogard, Gunnar Henderson, and Angel Genao.
The Retro Lightning is a 99 OVR Kris Bryant, based on his August 2016 with the Chicago Cubs. Bryant can be obtained by collecting Spotlight cards from the August Spotlight Drop Packs (1-4, ANY). You’ll need 13 of the August Spotlight pack cards to get Bryant.
Collect eight, and unlock a 99 OVR Corey Seager.
