MLB The Show 26 Home Run Derby Program: Rewards & how to make progress

During the early morning hours of July 14 — or late night on the 13th, depending on where one lives — the MLB The Show 26 team released Home Run Derby content. Those who don’t want to purchase packs can get two free shots at the 99 OVR Jordan Walker, plus other items in the Program. Plus, prediction voucher rewards are now live.

Here’s a look at the reward path for the MLB The Show 26 Home Run Derby Program:

5 Points: Home Run Derby Bat
10 Points: Home Run Derby Choice Pack
20 Points: 5,000 XP
30 Points: Deluxe All-Star Game Pack
40 Points: 5,000 XP
50 Points: Home Run Derby Choice Pack

Unlike in 2025, there is no program-exclusive player in this program. However, there are two lottery tickets for the 99 OVR Jordan Walker.

How to make progress

Complete Home Run Derby Showdown (10 pts.)
Missions:
- Tally 124 total bases with any players in any game mode (10 pts.)
- Tally 2,026 PXP with Caminero, Rice, Caglianone, Willson Contreras, Walker, Harper, Schwarber, and/or Murakami (10 pts.)
- Tally five home runs with players from Rays, Yankees, Royals, Red Sox, Cardinals, Phillies, and/or White Sox (5 pts.)
- Tally five home runs with 2026 All-Star Game Series players (5 pts.)
- Tally 10 home runs with any 2026 MLB Draft Series players (5 pts.)
- Tally five home runs with any 2026 Home Run Derby Series players (5 pts.)

The Showdown is a simple two-leg one. Aside from that, get ready to do some grinding with some of the cards released just before the Home Run Derby.

HRD/All-Star Prediction Vouchers

Just like in 2025, Sony released a special All-Star Game/Home Run Derby Predictions Pack that was released after Munetaka Murakami declared for the event. It included an AL/NL voucher for the predicted winner, plus vouchers for the winner of the Home Run Derby, plus the longest home run & most hits in one round.

Now that the Home Run Derby has concluded, players can begin to redeem vouchers.

To redeem, go to “Collect,” followed by the 2026 All-Star Week Predictions collection.

3: All-Star Game/HRD/ASG Choice Pack

To have hit on all three, one had to choose Junior Caminero for the longest home run, Willson Contreras or Jordan Walker for the most in one round, and Walker as the winner.
