On July 2, the MLB The Show 26 team released the two new Lightning cards for June in Diamond Dynasty. For the Retro Lightning, it’s for a strong performance four years earlier from a 2021 AL All-Star. And for the current June Lightning, Pete Crow-Armstrong gets rewarded with a 98 OVR.

Lightning & Retro Lightning
First off, the Lightning for June. That card will be a 98 OVR Pete Crow-Armstrong.
To get the June Lightning and the 98 Crow-Armstrong, one must get the Spotlight player at the end of each of the four paths for the Drop programs of the associated month. This is just like the formula used for the last two years, including this past May.
For June, it’s Roki Sasaki, Braden Montgomery, Nasim Nunez, and Zack Gelof.
The Retro Lightning for June is a 98 OVR Cedric Mullins.
Thirteen of the June Spotlight cards from packs are needed for Mullins. Eight will unlock a 97 OVR Spotlight Dansby Swanson.
