On the 25th anniversary of the terrorist attacks in New York City, as well as the Mets & Yankees playing in The Bronx, the MLB The Show 26 team released the Subway Series Program on 9/11/26. It includes four 99 OVR cards, two featuring Yankees and two featuring Mets. All are based on the Subway design used for the Derek Jeter Storylines in MLB The Show 24, coupled with the 2001 Topps art.

How to make progress
- Complete Subway Series Conquest (50 pts.)
- Complete one Moment (5 pts.)
- Subway Series Missions:
- Tally 16 total bases with Yankees and/or Mets players in any game mode (10 pts.)
- Tally two home runs with Yankees and/or Mets players in any game mode (10 pts.)
- Yankees Missions:
- Tally 2,000 PXP with Yankees players in any game mode (5 pts.)
- Tally 10 hits with Yankees players in any game mode (5 pts.)
- Tally 10 strikeouts with Yankees players in any game mode (5 pts.)
- Mets Missions:
- Tally 2,000 PXP with Mets players in any game mode (5 pts.)
- Tally 10 hits with Mets players in any game mode (5 pts.)
- Tally 10 strikeouts with Mets players in any game mode (5 pts.)
This program can be completed entirely by doing the Subway Series Conquest. Diamond Dynasty players can get some hidden & unhidden rewards within that Conquest, including a Vault Pack.
It can also be completed piecemeal through the Missions. Plus, one Moment, which allows players to re-create Mike Piazza’s home run against the Braves in the Mets’ first game at home after the September 11 attack.
