You never know who will show up in the Minors on any given week. And for a select few Triple-A pitchers in the Pacific Coast League, those individuals found out what it was like to face a bona fide heavyweight Major League hitter. Here’s our review of Week 11 across Minor League Baseball in 2026.

Big Dumper goes off in Tacoma

Three players — Charlie Condon, Zach Ehrhard, and Jack Suwinski — had four-home run weeks in the Pacific Coast League this week. But the leader among PCL players over the last week turned out to be the 2025 AL MVP runner-up: Cal Raleigh.

Raleigh, who had his rehab assignment transferred to Tacoma, had two multi-home run contests (25% Barrel% over the week), one on June 9 and the other on the 13th. In the middle, he hit one on the 11th. He also led the circuit in total RBI (12).

Strong Triple-A bow for Curtis

Pirates pitching prospect Khristian Curtis made a grand entrance with Triple-A Indianapolis this week, as the righty struck out 10 (43.1% Whiff%) over 5.2 IP. He did not allow an earned run in his first start with the Indians.

The fastball velocity was premier, as well, as Kurtis topped out at 99 MPH.

17 hits in seven for Ayers

Cubs catching prospect Owen Ayers continues to do nothing but hit, keeping up the torrid pace he started in the Arizona Fall League this past October & November. Ayers led all full-season Minor League hitters in total hits (17) over the past week, and two of those were home runs.

The 25-year-old Ayers is now hitting .320/.430/.639 with 11 home runs and 24 extra-base hits over 42 contests with Double-A Knoxville.

Ayers wasn’t the only one to put up great numbers for the Smokies this past week. Jefferson Rojas (13) and Karson Simas (11) were right behind Ayers on the Southern League hits leaderboard.
