Recapping Week 20 of the 2026 MiLB Season

The stretch run for the 2026 Minor League season has arrived. This past week was a wild one, as several players had massive weeks in the power department. And in A-ball, a pair of 2026 first-rounders did very well in their first pro showings.

Lebron & Flukey among debuts

It was a fine week for Justin Lebron, who made his pro debut this past week with High-A Dayton after the Reds assigned him to the level to begin his career. Lebron picked up a hit in four of five games played, and a multi-hit game in three of five. The former Alabama standout hit his first career pro home run on August 14, and then tallied another on the 15th.

Cameron Flukey made his first career pro start on August 14 versus Low-A Bradenton with the Lakeland Flying Tigers. Flukey walked & struck out two over 1.1 scoreless innings, hitting as high as 95 MPH in the start.

King rolling in Triple-A

This past week, the Nationals announced that the club will shift CJ Abrams to second base, a move that’s not surprising given Abrams’ well-documented struggles at short. But with all the shortstops in the Nationals’ farm system, one can’t forget about Seaver King.

King, the Nationals’ top pick from 2024, had 10 hits, two of which were home runs, and two stolen bases across six games with the club. It continued what has been a very good 2026 campaign for King, who’s split between Double-A and Triple-A.

Over 47 games with Rochester, King slashed .301/.376/.505 with nine home runs and 19 extra-base hits.

Davidson leads way in PCL

Giants outfielder Bo Davidson is one of several notable prospects knocking at the door for the club in Triple-A. He proved that this past week.

Davidson led the Pacific Coast League with 14 hits over six games. He hit four home runs and drove in 14 runs for the River Cats.
