2023 MLB London Series Dates
The 2023 MLB London Series will take place on June 24-25. This weekend affair will see the Chicago Cubs take on the team’s longtime rival, St. Louis Cardinals, in a two-game set. The first game will take place on the 24th at 1:10 PM ET, while the second game will start at 10:10 AM ET.
This will mark the first regular season games to take place in London since 2019. That year, the Boston Red Sox and the New York Yankees took part in a lively two-game set in London Stadium. The first game saw the two teams scored a combined 30 runs, with the Yankees coming out on top by a score of 17-13.
New York swept the series against Boston, as the Yankees defeated the Sox in the second game 12-8.
Much like with the 2019 games, Chicago and St. Louis will play in London Stadium. This venue normally houses West Ham United of the English Premier League for most of the calendar year. Because of that, it might be safe to assume that the Cubs and Cardinals could post offensive totals much like the ones seen four years ago.
We should note that this will not be the only occasion in 2023 that regular season games will be contested outside of the U.S. and Canada. Two games between the Giants and Padres will be played in Mexico City.
