It’s been a tough week for fantasy baseball players. Corbin Burnes & Pablo Lopez, two elite arms, landed on the injured list. Not to mention, several blowups from several talented pitchers, including Jesús Luzardo. As Week 11 of the 2025 fantasy baseball season approaches, here’s a look at our list of best pitchers to target.

Best Week 11 pitchers to target

Eury Perez is back from the injured list, as the Marlins officially announced the right-hander will make his 2025 MLB debut on June 9. Perez struck out 27 over 22.2 IP during his rehab assignment.

For those who remember, the right-hander overwhelmed hitters with a strong fastball, coupled with a curveball and slider that played well off it.

During his rehab, Perez’s fastball was as good as gold from an analytical standpoint. The right-hander touched 100 MPH in his rehab assignment, a strong sign given he could regularly hit triple digits back in 2023. Not to mention, a nearly 30% — 29%, to be exact — off that four-seamer.

Will Perez get a lot of wins? Probably not. But, he’s a strong arm with major strikeout upside.

Next up is Hayden Birdsong, who’ll face the Rockies at Coors Field on June 12. It’ll be his first-ever outing in Coors Field, so we’ll see how it goes. But thus far, the 23-year-old righty’s been very good, with a 2.55 ERA over 42 innings.

Griffin Canning, meanwhile, makes it back to this list. Despite the 2.90 ERA and six wins, Canning hasn’t gotten enough love. Yes, the 1.32 WHIP isn’t great. However, the right-hander delivers more often than not, and an example of that was on June 4. Canning struck out seven over six scoreless innings against the Dodgers.

He’ll face the Nationals on June 10.

Luis Ortiz, acquired in the Spencer Horwitz trade last December, has been excellent in recent weeks. Ortiz had the 12th-best ERA over the 11 days before June 7, with a .77 ERA. The righty is still getting plenty of ground balls but also ground balls. It does help that he’s thrown fewer sinkers and more four-seamers, plus changeups.

Ortiz gets the Reds on June 9.

Lastly, Jose Quintana has been reliable for the Brewers this season. From May 27 through June 7, Quintana posted a 2.70 ERA across 10 innings, more than servicable and in the upper half of the league, along with seven strikeouts.

In his most recent outing, he struck out four over five against a good Padres team.

Overview of Week 10

Where to begin with the Week 10 list.

Mick Abel pitched fine on paper, as he only gave up one run over 5.1 IP in his lone start this week. However, he only had two strikeouts. Chris Paddack delivered much of the same, as he conceded two runs but only three strikeouts over six innings.

Ryan Yarbrough, however, got shelled over the weekend against the Red Sox.

Shane Bieber‘s been temporarily shut down thanks to elbow soreness, a setback in his recovery from elbow surgery.
