The 11th week of the 2026 college baseball season saw many of the power schools remain in firm position. However, it was not a clean week for some. UCLA narrowly avoided a series loss to Sacramento State, while Florida State and Virginia had hiccups against ACC foes.

For the second consecutive week, no team fell out of the top 25.
In our Week 11 preview, we noted that Sacramento State had a knack for pulling off upsets, with wins against LSU & Kansas this season. The Hornets did it again this weekend, as Sacramento State won on the 26th to deal UCLA its fourth loss of the season. And had it not been for a two-run single from Roman Martin in the ninth inning of the series opener, Sacramento State would have taken the series.
Still, UCLA came out with three of three and is still on top of the rankings.
Moving on to other Big 10 schools, Oregon had a fantastic week. The Ducks took a midweek matchup against rival Oregon State, then swept Penn State in Eugene. Nebraska stayed put after the Cornhuskers took two of three from Illinois.
USC moved up six spots after a strong rebound weekend following a sweep by Nebraska one week ago. The Trojans swept Purdue and beat Cal State Fullerton in a non-conference matchup.
As for the SEC schools, Auburn moved up one spot after the Tigers took two of three from Oklahoma. Auburn outscored the Sooners 20-8 between the two victories. Andreas Alvarez struck out six in the opener and received run support from Mason McCraine, Chase Fralick, and Eric Guevara.
Mississippi State swept LSU and scored 32 runs across the three games played against the Tigers. LSU is now in significant danger of missing the tourney, as the Tigers have fallen to 6-15 in SEC play & 24-21 overall.
Florida fell to #25 after the Gators lost two in a row to Texas A&M and dropped another series at home. Aidan King tossed eight strong in the opener. However, Liam Peterson gave up three home runs to the Aggies in the second game.
Lastly, a wild weekend in the ACC. Florida State was swept by Rintaro Sasaki and Stanford this past weekend in California. UVA, meanwhile, was swept by a now-hot Pittsburgh Panthers team. Pittsburgh scored 48 runs across four games this past week, all of which were wins.
