It was a strong week for several returning players from the Minors, plus two rookies that should be on all players’ fantasy radars as we approach the 12th week of the 2026 MLB campaign. Here are our Week 12 hitter picks for fantasy baseball.

Best Week 12 hitters to target

After what was a wild week in Las Vegas, it would be wise not to think that every Athletic — or at least, some of the players — will be able to keep up the lofty pace produced. Still, Zack Gelof is worth a roster spot in mixed leagues.

Gelof did very well in Vegas, as he hit three home runs and now has a streak of seven straight games with a run scored. All of that, by the way, has been done in the middle of the A’s lineup.

Another Bay Area player, Bryce Eldridge, has been scorching over the last 10 days. Eldridge, just in the last week, picked up 10 hits, three of which were home runs. There’s also been intrigue with the prodigious power-hitting rookie but the trick has been to watch A) the swing-and-miss rate and B) how consistent he could be with little margin for error at the MLB level.

So far, so good in Eldridge’s second act in the Majors.

Then, there are two other players, aside from Gelof and Eldridge, who’ve hit well since being recalled from Triple-A. Royce Lewis had 10 hits and three home runs himself this week, as he now embraces a utility role with the Twins. Lewis is playing every day, so that “utility” tag shouldn’t scare anyone off.

(By the way, Eldridge (18%) and Lewis (23%) have trimmed the Whiff% in recent days, as indicated by the last 10 days).

Marte had three home runs over the last week, too.

Lastly, Braden Montgomery picked up five hits, one of which was a walk-off home run & first career MLB home run. Lofty, prodigious potential with Montgomery, who flashed pop in the Minors.

Overview of Week 11

Sam Antonacci, one of our Week 11 targets, saved the week with a home run on June 14. A bad week doesn’t diminish his outlook.

Gleyber Torres was great over the last week, with seven hits and one home run over five games.

And keep riding high with Jung Hoo Lee, who should be owned in all mixed leagues. Ten more hits this week for the Giants outfielder.
