Aside from trades and free agency, November is awards season, as Gold Glove Awards, Silver Slugger Awards, and the big ones — the Cy Young and MVP for each league — will be announced. Gold Glove Awards

Here are the 2026 Gold Glove Winners:

American League

In the American League, it’s a mostly fresh list of players.

Cole Young, Caleb Durbin, and Taylor Walls all won their first Gold Glove Awards. Christian Walker won his first in the American League in his second season with the Houston Astros. As far as the infield was concerned, the only repeat winner from 2025 was Tigers catcher Dillon Dingler.

Ceddanne Rafaela and Wilyer Abreu are repeat winners; Abreu won his third straight, while Rafaela notched his second straight.

National League

The Brewers, Braves, Diamondbacks, and Cubs each had at least two Gold Glove Winners.

Pete Crow-Armstrong, the league leader in Outs Above Average (+23), won his second straight Gold Glove in center. Alex Bregman, in his first season in Chicago, won after taking home one as an Astro.

JJ Wetherholt was the league leader among infielders in OAA (+19) but he was beat out by Brice Turang. Turang and Jackson Chourio represented the World Series champions.

Atlanta saw Matt Olson and Mauricio Dubon win Gold Gloves once more. Olson did in 2025 with the Braves, while Dubon took home the Utility Gold Glove as an Astro that year.

Thanks to Gabriel Moreno, Geraldo Perdomo, and Corbin Carroll, the Diamondbacks had an NL-high three winners.

Clemente Award

Mets shortstop Francisco Lindor won the 2026 Roberto Clemente Award. The honor is given to one Major Leaguer every year who personifies the commitment to helping one’s community and others.
