On April 26, Sony San Diego released the MLB The Show 24 Classics Program in Diamond Dynasty. This program celebrates dominant cards released in previous MLB The Show games, with the marquee prize being a 95 OVR Cody Bellinger that was a force in 2017 and 2020. How to make progress

To complete the MLB The Show 24 Classics Program, one must complete a series of tasks. These tasks range from Missions, a Moment, and a Conquest.

Here’s a look at the different tasks:

• Complete five Moments (15 pts. – 3 pts. each)
• Complete one Extreme Moment (OPTIONAL) (10 pts.) – Tally 10 total bases in one game with Cody Bellinger on HOF difficulty
• Complete The Show Classics Showdown (20 pts.)
• PXP Missions:
  • Tally 500 PXP with The Show Classics Series Players (i.e. cards made by SDS and released in older games) in 1v1 Ranked, Battle Royale, Events, Play vs. CPU, Mini Seasons, and Conquest (10 pts.) (REPEATABLE)
  • Tally 300 PXP with 93 OVR Kenta Maeda in 1v1 Ranked, Battle Royale, Events, Play vs. CPU, Mini Seasons, and Conquest (5 pts.)
  • Tally 300 PXP with 93 OVR Nick Lodolo in 1v1 Ranked, Battle Royale, Events, Play vs. CPU, Mini Seasons, and Conquest (5 pts.)

  • Get on base (i.e. hit, walk) 10 times with primary outfielders in 1v1 Ranked, Battle Royale, and Events (5 pts.)
  • Tally 10 total bases with switch hitters in 1v1 Ranked, Battle Royale, and Events (5 pts.)
• Single-Player Missions:
  • Tally 30 hits with The Show Classics Series players in Play vs. CPU, Mini Seasons, and Conquest (10 pts.)
  • Tally 20 strikeouts with The Show Classics Series players in Play vs. CPU, Mini Seasons, and Conquest (5 pts.)
  • Tally 10 RBI with The Show Classics Series Players in Play vs. CPU, Mini Seasons, and Conquest (5 pts.)
  • Tally five home runs with primary first basemen in Play vs. CPU, Mini Seasons, and Conquest (10 pts.)

For those who need a refresh, National League teams are the Diamondbacks, Dodgers, Rockies, Padres, Giants, Brewers, Reds, Cubs, Cardinals, Pirates, Mets, Braves, Phillies, Marlins, and Nationals.

We recommend starting with the Showdown, as a couple of minutes will get players 20% done with the Program. From there, grind in Moments to unlock Ruiz and then add the unlocked players to either single-player or online teams.

This program will not expire.
