After the 2025 Hall of Fame ceremony on July 27, Sony released related content for MLB The Show 25. Four of the five players inducted into the hall received 99 OVR cards. Two of those can be obtained in a new program, while two are new collection rewards.

This is different compared to 24 when Sony split it up into three player programs. Instead, it’s one path that includes two of the four 2025 Hall of Famers the developers have the rights to (Ichiro is not in the game).

We should note that the Athletics and Brewers are listed multiple times here. A’s players help with Allen and Parker, while Brewers players help with Sabathia and Parker. Additionally, the Phillies help with Wagner and Allen’s missions.

For those wondering, you can use cards like the Cornerstone Dick Allen, the Sabathia from Mini Seasons, as well as the lower-tier Allen and Wagner cards found in the collections.

Hall of Fame Collections

Dick Allen and Billy Wagner’s 99 OVR cards are in collections. First, a look at the attributes on the two cards:

These are essentially mini-Legends & Flashback Collections. This is because Diamond Dynasty players need 14 of the 28 vouchers for Jose Bautista — the third “big” Collection reward — to get Wagner. Twenty-one vouchers are needed for Allen.

One voucher will unlock a 95 OVR version of said player.
