On August 12, Pete Alonso hit his 253rd career home run, all of which came with the Mets. That home run passed Darryl Strawberry for the all-time home run record in Mets franchise history. To commemorate the milestone, Sony released a 99 OVR Milestone of Pete Alonso in MLB The Show 25 on August 13.

- Complete seven Moments (25 pts. in total – four have 4 pts., three have 3 pts.)
- OPTIONAL Mission – Collect 250 career HR Icon (10 pts.)
- Stat Missions:
- Tally 20 home runs with primary first basemen (5 pts.)
- Tally 20 home runs with Mets (5 pts.)
- Tally 2,530 PXP with Mets players (5 pts.)
- Tally 40 home runs with any players (5 pts.)
- Tally 131 total bases with any players (5 pts.)
- Tally 253 PXP with any Pete Alonso card (5 pts.) (OPTIONAL)
This is a fairly straightforward, one focused on Moments and Missions.
All the Moments are on Veteran. However, three award three Star Points, while four give four.
For those wondering about past Alonso cards, there’s a Live Series version of him, plus a 96 OVR from Team Affinity via the All-Star Game content.
One other component to this program is the Icon, which is not the Diamond HR Icon but the Gold one. If you’ve played a fair amount of Diamond Dynasty, that one should already be unlocked.
