The first official trailer for MLB The Show 26 went live on February 3, the same day that pre-orders became available for this year’s game. Now that pre-orders are live, here’s a look at the costs and bonuses that come with each edition of The Show 26.
How to pre-order MLB The Show 26
Anyone interested in pre-ordering MLB The Show 26 can do so digitally or in physical form. Physical copies will be sold at GameStop, Best Buy, Walmart, and other destinations.
Digital editions can be purchased on the Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo e-stores.
Edition options
Before anything else, let’s take a look at what you get with the two special editions, the Standard and Digital Deluxe Editions.
Standard Edition
The Standard Edition is $59.99 for the Nintendo Switch, and $69.99 for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. This is the only version of MLB The Show 26 that will receive a physical release.
Individuals who purchase the game receive the base version of it, plus five MLB The Show 26 packs. The pre-order bonus is a Gold Choice pack for the card-collecting game mode.
It should be noted that this year’s edition does not have a Day 1 version. Individuals who purchased the game before launch had the ability to buy this version, which came with the base Physical edition and a Topps Now card that featured one of the three MLB The Show 25 cover athletes.
Digital Deluxe Edition
The Digital Deluxe Edition costs $99.99 at full price. You may be able to save on that, and we’ll get to that in the next section.
First, anyone who pre-orders the Digital Deluxe Edition will be able to receive four days of early access beginning on March 13.

Those who are regular Diamond Dynasty players are the ones to benefit most from the pre-order. Diamond Dynasty players will receive a lot of resources from the onset, including Stubs and players to use right away.
And as noted above, there is no Physical/Collector Edition for MLB The Show 26.
Loyalty bonus
Aside from the virtual content for Diamond Dynasty, those who ordered a past digital edition of MLB The Show can receive a loyalty discount in the e-shops. This dates back to MLB The Show 21 (Xbox & PlayStation) and 22 (Nintendo Switch).
The bonus is a 10% discount on the Digital Deluxe edition, lowering it from $99.99 (not including tax) to $89.99.
