A Look at the Final MLB The Show 23 Roster Update
Twelve MLB players went to Diamond as part of the final ratings update, which highlighted the best performers from the 2023 MLB Postseason.
Those players were Trea Turner (89 OVR), Zack Wheeler (88 OVR), J.T. Realmuto (87 OVR), Jhoan Duran (86 OVR), Gabriel Moreno (86 OVR), Justin Verlander (85 OVR), Ketel Marte (85 OVR), Pablo Lopez (85 OVR), Alex Bregman (85 OVR), Nathan Eovaldi (85 OVR), Royce Lewis (85 OVR) and Bo Bichette (85 OVR).
Several of those names should not come as a surprise. Verlander, Wheeler, and Eovaldi all pitched phenomenally this past October, while Moreno and Marte helped power the Diamondbacks to a National League pennant.
We should note that aside from Eovaldi going Diamond, a new 99 OVR of the Rangers righty went live via the Postseason World Series Program. That program also included a 99 OVR Milestone Ketel Marte and a 99 OVR Corey Seager.
Aside from those upgrades, Adolis Garcia‘s Live Series received a +6 OVR boost to 95 OVR after his historic playoffs. Yordan Alvarez went up four points to 93 OVR, while Jose Altuve also jumped up four points to 91 OVR. Bryce Harper is also a 91 OVR, as the Phillies first baseman received a +6 boost.
Other notable non-Diamond increases include Brandon Pfaadt (+12, 78 OVR), Kevin Ginkel (+11, 78 OVR), Jeff Hoffman (+11, 81 OVR), and Ranger Suarez (+9, 81 OVR).
As mentioned earlier, this is the final roster & ratings update for MLB The Show 23 and Diamond Dynasty.
