In the movie Moneyball, A’s general manager Billy Beane — played by Brad Pitt — asked how one could not be romantic about baseball. On September 10, Sony San Diego released the Romantic About Baseball Program in MLB The Show 24, dedicated to celebrating moments with great stories, including Cal Raleigh’s walk-off to send the Mariners to the postseason in 2022, and Brett Phillips’ walk-off from the 2020 World Series. Here’s a look at what came with it.

How to complete the program

To get 97 OVR Kris Bryant and the other cards in this program, one will need 50 Star Points in the Romantic About Baseball Program in MLB The Show 24. Here’s a look at the program rewards:

Diamond Dynasty players must complete a series of Moments and Missions to complete the MLB The Show 24 Romantic About Baseball Program. Here’s a look at those:

Complete Extreme Moment (9 pts. – hit two home runs and get on base four times) (OPTIONAL)
Complete Moments (21 pts. – 3 pts. each)
Tally 150 PXP with OOP Phillips, TN Singleton, TN Raleigh, Milestone Justice in 1v1 Ranked, Battle Royale, Events, Play vs. CPU, Mini Seasons, and Conquest (5 pts. each)
5 pts. Missions each for 10 RBI with Rays, five home runs with Astros, eight extra-base hits with A’s, five home runs with Mariners, and 10 runs scored with Cubs in 1v1 Ranked, Battle Royale, Events, Play vs. CPU, Mini Seasons, and Conquest

This program is simple once doing the seven regular Missions, Once that’s done, two of the program cards will be unlocked, which can be used in single-player grinding.
