Much like in past games, MLB The Show 24 Season paths in Diamond Dynasty come with earnable boss packs. However, the marquee bosses will take a significant time to earn thanks to the existence of an XP cap in MLB The Show 24. Here’s a look at what exactly an XP cap is and what the threshold is.
Definition and limit of XP in MLB The Show 24
Simply put, the XP cap in MLB The Show 24 limits how much XP can be earned per day in Diamond Dynasty through gameplay; this includes experience earned through playing games within and outside the game mode.
Now, this does not include XP earned as bonuses in programs, like Other Programs, Ranked, and Battle Royale Programs. It only affects the amount earned during innings in baseball games.
In late March 2024, Sony San Diego outlined the actual limit number per day. 15,000 XP per gameplay is the limit in MLB The Show 24.
Sony San Diego stated that there may be opportunities to receive more than that per day in gameplay during Double XP days. However, the total is “necessary for the pacing of the content,” so that the 99 OVR boss players aren’t available too early in the season.
