The MLB The Show 26 Diamond Dynasty team will deliver two new Lightning cards, these for July, on August 5. The Lightning features an All-Star shortstop from the Washington Nationals, while the Retro is a Hall of Fame first baseman. Here’s a look at how to get the new Lightnings, plus the Drops released so far.

Lightning & Retro Lightning

The July Lightning in MLB The Show 26 is a 99 OVR Spotlight CJ Abrams. It can be obtained by acquiring the last Spotlight Series card reward in every single one of the four drops from July.

You’ll need the 99 OVR Moreno & Okamoto, plus the 98 OVR Valdez & 97 OVR Rocchio.

As for the Retro Lightning, it’s a 99 OVR Spotlight of David Ortiz from his Twins days. You’ll need Spotlight cards from the Drop packs.

Thirteen July Spotlight cards are required for the Ortiz. Acquiring eight will unlock a 99 OVR Spotlight Brice Turang.
