On August 7, the MLB The Show 26 content team released New Threads Trade Deadline content in Diamond Dynasty. The headliners among the content include a 99 OVR Tarik Skubal in the program, plus three collection rewards. A 99 OVR Adley Rutschman is the premier reward among the three.

• REPEATABLE PXP Mini Seasons: Tally 9,000 PXP with New Threads Series cards in Mini Seasons (25 pts.)
• Missions:
  • Tally seven innings with New Threads pitchers (10 pts.)
  • Total 28 total bases with New Threads players (10 pts.)
  • Tally 13 hits with New Threads players (10 pts.)
  • Tally 1,000 PXP with New Threads players (5 pts.)
  • Tally 3,000 PXP with New Threads players (5 pts.)
  • Tally 5,000 PXP with New Threads players (10 pts.)
• Multiplayer Missions:

Collection

This is where things get complicated. First, here are the collection rewards for the New Threads Trade Deadline Content:

You’ll need 10 New Threads Deadline cards for Arraez, 18 for 99 OVR Soriano, and 25 for the 99 OVR Adley Rutschman.

As far as spread is concerned, 10 are in the Program, 15 are in the packs, and two (Arraez & Soriano) are in collections.

Now, we should note that back in March, Sony released New Threads 1.0 content to highlight all of the players who changed teams during the offseason. It should be noted that none of those cards released in March can be used as collection fodder for this one.

However, you can use New Threads Trade Deadline cards to unlock the 90 OVR Verlander, 91 OVR Tucker, and 91 OVR Bichette that were released as collection rewards.
