For those who play in deeper fantasy leagues, finding saves can be very tricky. However, a pair of relievers who should be available in most leagues headline our list of fantasy baseball pitchers to target on the waiver wire for Week 12 of 2026.
Best Week 12 pitchers to target

- RP Yoendrys Gomez (Twins)
- SP Dustin May (Cardinals)
- SP Griffin Jax (Rays)
- RP Caleb Kilian (Giants)
We’ll start with the relievers, as both Yoendrys Gomez & Caleb Kilian should be on all fantasy players’ radars.
Gomez, once a starter, who has bounced around between the White Sox, Rays, and now, the Twins, has two saves over the last 10 days. He’s the man to own for saves right now among Twins relievers, although his past outings have been interesting. Gomez gave up two earned runs over his last three innings.
Kilian, meanwhile, has six strikeouts over scoreless innings. He didn’t notch a save over the last 10 days but Kilian has two this season. And for now, the Giants have anointed him the closer.
Dustin May was superb against the Mets this past week. No, he didn’t have much swing-and-miss (20.8%). However, 21 called strikes and six shutout innings earned him his fourth win of 2026. Now, May is one of the more interesting streaming options for Week 12. May will get the Padres on June 15, and will likely get another start this coming weekend against the Royals.
Griffin Jax (34.4% Whiff% over last 10 days) is, yet again, nearing that must-own territory. Five more shutout innings against the Angels this past weekend.
Javier Assad, who is 1-0 with a 0.00 ERA and 10 strikeouts over his last 12.1 IP, will get the Rockies on June 17.
Overview of Week 11
We told you to get ahead of things with Casey Mize, who will come back from IL this week, on the waiver wire. Hope you listened.
Tatsuya Imai, who was on a great run of late, saw things crashing down against the Royals this past weekend when he only notched two outs on the 12th. And, unfortunately, both Noah Cameron & Christian Scott also had bad outings after torrid runs over the last month.
The good news is that Troy Melton did pick up another win this week.
