MLB The Show 24’s early access period went live on March 15, giving baseball fans their first taste of the game. However, some might notice a few notable names from the game’s rosters. One such name who falls under that category in MLB The Show 24 is Giants outfielder Jung Hoo Lee.

Status of Jung Hoo Lee in MLB The Show 24

As of April 5, 2024, Giants outfielder Jung Hoo Lee is in MLB The Show 24.

Lee was added into the game on the 5th along with Cubs pitcher Shota Imanaga.

Traditionally, players on MLB rosters who’ve joined from a pro league in Korea and Japan and never played a regular season game in the U.S. are not in the game right away.

This was the case in MLB The Show 23, as Kodai Senga and Masataka Yoshida — the latter of whom was in Diamond Dynasty right away due to the WBC but not on Boston’s roster — were missing from their team’s rosters.

Lee was in a similar situation to Yoshinobu Yamamoto. Like Yamamoto, Lee was in MLB The Show 23 thanks to Sony San Diego’s agreement with the World Baseball Classic. Since Lee was on Team Korea, his name and likeness were in last year’s game.

Now that he played in the Majors, Lee was able to be added.
