How to get Core Cards in MLB The Show 23
Now, we’ve gone over in the past as to what items fall under the Core category previously, but we’ll do a quick overview. Simply put, Core cards are any Flashback & Legend player items that are less than 90 OVR. Additionally, certain 90+ OVR cards also fall under this category.
90 OVR+ Core cards can be obtained in the following manners:
- Live Series Collection
- Mexico City Series Program
- Nation of Baseball Conquest
- Negro Leagues Storylines
Those who have already obtained the 99 OVR Core Corey Seager can also use that card towards the MLB The Show 23 Ozzie Albies collection.
We should note that Live Series cards do not count towards the Ozzie Albies collection, but the Live Series collection rewards do. Additionally, a 99 OVR Core Ken Griffey Jr. awaits those who can complete the Extreme Program.
Core cards that are less than 90 OVR can be obtained through Team Affinity, Battle Royale, the Nation of Baseball Conquest, as well as through Other Programs.
Those who have been keeping up with Battle Royale reward refreshes should be in good shape. That’s because the BR reward paths include Silver, Gold, and Diamond Core Choice packs.
For those who haven’t, get cracking in Battle Royale.
