The first notable Other Program for MLB The Show 24 officially launched on March 15, along with early access to the game. The MLB The Show 24 Spring Breakout program launched in conjunction with the Spring Breakout event itself, a showcase of some of the game’s best prospects. Diamond Dynasty players can add seven Diamonds from this program, including an 89 OVR Dylan Crews.

How to make progress

Much like in previous years, MLB The Show 24 players must complete Star Points to make progress. Star Points can be earned through a specific Showdown, as well as various Moments and Missions.

Here’s a look at how MLB The Show 24 players can make progress through this program:

• Complete the Spring Breakout Showdown (15 pts.)
• Complete four Moment (12 pts. – 3 pts. each)
• Complete Extreme Moment on HOF Difficulty (9 pts.) (OPTIONAL)
• Complete PXP Missions:
  • Tally 500 PXP with Spring Breakout Series players in 1v1 Ranked, Battle Royale, Events, Play vs. CPU, Mini Seasons, and Conquest (5 pts.) (REPEATABLE)
  • Tally 150 PXP with Spring Breakout Kyle Manzardo in 1v1 Ranked, Battle Royale, Events, Play vs. CPU, Mini Seasons, and Conquest (5 pts.)

  • Tally 15 hits with second basemen in any Diamond Dynasty game mode in 1v1 Ranked, Battle Royale, Events, Play vs. CPU, Mini Seasons, and Conquest (5 pts.)
  • Get on base 10 times with shortstops in any Diamond Dynasty game mode in 1v1 Ranked, Battle Royale, Events, Play vs. CPU, Mini Seasons, and Conquest (5 pts.)
  • Tally five home runs with Nationals in any Diamond Dynasty game mode in 1v1 Ranked, Battle Royale, Events, Play vs. CPU, Mini Seasons, and Conquest (5 pts.)
• Complete Multiplayer Missions:
  • Tally 40 total bases with Spring Breakout players in 1v1 Ranked, Battle Royale, and Events (5 pts.)
  • Tally 15 strikeouts with Spring Breakout players in 1v1 Ranked, Battle Royale, and Events (5 pts.)
  • Tally five home runs with Spring Breakout players in 1v1 Ranked, Battle Royale, and Events (5 pts.)

A good strategy would be to do the Showdown and Moments first. Then, add the unlocked Spring Breakout players to either one’s online or single-player team to get the Missions done.
