The first June Spotlight Drop for MLB The Show 25 went live on June 13, one that’ll begin to set the stage for the Lightning that will be available. And on July 3, the Lightning for June went live, one that features the marquee free agent from last year’s offseason: Juan Soto. Here’s a look at the June Spotlight content that’s dropped thus far.

Lightning & other rewards

On July 3, SDS released the Lightning & Retro Lightning for June. The Lightning for June is a 97 OVR Juan Soto:

Soto can be obtained by completing all four Drop Programs for June and collecting the final Spotlight reward from each one. You’ll need 96 OVR Jo Adell, 95 OVR Nolan Arenado, 94 OVR Evan Carter, and 93 OVR Hunter Goodman.

The Retro Lightning, meanwhile, is a 97 OVR Bobby Grich.

To unlock 97 OVR Grich, eight of the 11 June Spotlight cards. The 11 are 96 OVR Jazz Chisholm Jr., 96 OVR Adrian Morejon, 95 OVR Brooks Lee, 95 OVR Jose Soriano, 95 OVR Justin Wrobleski, 95 OVR Cristopher Sanchez, 95 OVR Wenceel Perez, 94 OVR Jacob Misiorowski, 94 OVR Casey Schmitt, 93 OVR Vinnie Pasquantino, and 93 OVR Drew Rasmussen.

Those who collect five can unlock 96 OVR Yandy Diaz (Diaz is not part of the June Retro Lightning Collection).

Additionally, those who get two of the four Drop Programs done can collect the end rewards for a 94 OVR New Threads Rafael Devers.
