Much like past years, Apple will air two games every Friday. Most will be on Friday nights. However, there will be one day game airing in the first half, on May 22, between the Astros and Cubs.

These games will also start slightly later than usual. Most will start either 15 minutes after the hour or half-hour.

As of March 2026, MLB has only announced which games will air on the service through the end of June. Traditionally, Apple and the league will confirm what games will be on in July, August, and September later in the year.

Is an Apple TV+ subscription required?

Yes, a subscription to Apple TV+ is required to watch these games.

An Apple TV+ subscription costs $12.99 a month after a seven-day free trial. Last year, it cost $9.99 a month for most of the year. However, the price was raised last summer.

Now, it should be noted that viewers can bundle Apple TV+ with Peacock. We’ll get more into Peacock further down.

NBC TV Schedule for 2026

Major League Baseball is back on NBC. Here’s a look at which games will air on the main network, NBC, in 2026:

September 7Cardinals vs. Giants (8 PM)
All times are ET.

The network will split up games between NBC and NBCSN/Peacock. While all the games shown above can be seen on Peacock, this list only covers the ones that can be viewed on the broadcast network.

Most of these are Sunday night games. NBC acquired the rights to the Sunday night standalone block, which belonged to ESPN for decades. However, some will not be on during the night.

NBC has the rights to the Pirates/Mets game on March 26, which is Opening Day. That same night, the Dodgers will raise their 2025 championship banner and play the Arizona Diamondbacks.

It should also be noted that most of the NBC games will come between late May and early September. This is due to the NBA playoffs in the spring, as well as the start of the NFL season in the fall.

Which is why many of the NBC-affiliated games will be exclusive to Peacock.

Peacock TV Schedule for 2026

Here are all the games that will be exclusive to Peacock:

DateScheduled Games
March 29Guardians vs. Mariners (7 PM)
April 5Cardinals vs. Tigers (7 PM)

Peacock will get most of the Sunday Night Baseball games that will not air on NBC due to scheduling conflicts.

However, the provider will also get the Sunday Leadoff package, which it had from 2022 through the 2023 season. Roku had the Sunday Leadoff games in 2024 and 2025. These games generally air in the early afternoon.

One other note not listed above is that Peacock will air all MLB games on July 5, as part of NBC’s “Star-Spangled Sunday” promotion.

Lastly, Peacock is only available in the United States. Individuals who are watching these games on MLB.TV internationally do not need to worry about another streaming service. Also, Sportsnet will still air the Blue Jays games scheduled to air on Peacock, since that network is Canadian-based.

Apple TV+ & Peacock bundle

Both Apple TV+ and Peacock will air exclusive (not available on local TV) MLB games.

To get live sports on Peacock, the bare minimum subscription required is the Premium one, priced at $10.99 a month. This tier has ads. The $16.99 a month tier does not have any ads.

However, to save money, one can purchase the Apple TV+/Peacock bundle, offered by both providers.

At $14.99 a month, individuals can purchase access to both. Meaning, the cost to get access to live MLB games gets slightly more tolerable.

Netflix TV Schedule for 2026

Yes, some MLB games will be on Netflix. Here’s a look at the schedule for the streaming provider:

DateScheduled Game

All times in ET.

For the first time, Netflix will air live MLB games during the 2026 season.

Netflix will have the rights to two specialty regular-season games. One is the standalone game on March 25 between the Yankees and Giants. That will be the first regular-season game of 2026. Additionally, the stramer will also have exclusive rights to the 2026 Field of Dreams game between the Phillies and Twins on August 13.

ESPN will get the Jackie Robinson Day game on April 15 between the Mets and Dodgers. Plus, the standalone game on July 16 between the Mets and the Phillies. It’ll mark the first game of the second half.

The 2026 Little League Classic will air on August 23. ESPN has the rights to the Little League World Series.
