The 2023 MLB campaign saw several teams go all-out at the Trade Deadline, including the World Series champion Texas Rangers. Even though we’re still a month away from the 2024 MLB Trade Deadline, several in-season deals have already gone down, one of those being a blockbuster for a two-time batting champion. With that said, here’s a look at all the notable MLB trades that have taken place in the 2024 season thus far.

2024 MLB Notable Trades Tracker

Here’s a look at the notable trades made in Major League Baseball during the 2024 regular season:

July

June

May

April

March

The Trade Deadline has officially passed. Any player traded between now and the end of the postseason will be ineligible for the postseason.

Much of the action took place during the final few days before the Trade Deadline. Among the notable movers included Jason Adam and Tanner Scott (Padres), Jazz Chisholm Jr. (Yankees), Jack Flaherty and Tommy Edman (Dodgers), Isaac Paredes (Cubs), Randy Arozarena (Mariners), and Erick Fedde (Cardinals).

Before the month of July, much of the in-season trade action went down in May. The Padres added Luis Arraez to the top of their lineup but there were other interesting trades. Texas re-acquired outfielder Robbie Grossman, while Seattle made a couple of moves that shook up their relief core.

Keep in mind that our tracker for 2024 MLB trades only encompasses moves that took place once the season began on March 28. It does not include moves made before the start of 2024, including deals made during Spring Training.
